Terms and conditions

Last updated: August 30, 2026

1. What Lippem is

Lippem is a platform that lets a company (“the customer” or “the tenant”) connect its WhatsApp Business, Instagram Direct, and Messenger accounts to a shared inbox, respond through artificial intelligence agents trained on its own knowledge, and automate conversations through a configurable workflow engine. These terms govern use of the platform by the customer and the users authorized within its account.

2. Account and access

Each customer operates in an isolated workspace (“tenant”). The customer is responsible for keeping user credentials confidential and for actions performed in its account, including AI agent configuration, automation workflows, and channel connections.

3. Messaging channel connections

To operate WhatsApp Business, Instagram Direct, or Messenger, the customer authorizes Lippem through Meta’s official flows to send and receive messages on its behalf. The customer confirms that it has the necessary permissions over connected accounts and assets and complies with Meta policies.

The customer must obtain required consent, honor opt-out requests, and avoid unsolicited messages. Business- initiated WhatsApp messages must use approved templates and follow applicable windows and rules. On Instagram Direct, Lippem responds to user-initiated conversations within Instagram’s authorized capabilities. Messenger is limited to authorized Pages. Lippem is an independent service and is not sponsored or endorsed by Meta Platforms.

4. Use of artificial intelligence

Lippem AI agents generate responses from conversation content and knowledge uploaded by the customer. Responses may use external language-model providers. The customer is responsible for reviewing whether uploaded knowledge and automated responses are suitable for its business. Lippem does not guarantee that every AI-generated response is completely accurate and provides mechanisms for handoff to a human agent.

5. Acceptable use

The customer agrees not to use Lippem for unsolicited communications (spam), illegal or misleading content, content that infringes third-party rights, or purposes that violate the terms of connected messaging platforms.

6. Data and disconnection

The customer must give contacts appropriate notice and have a lawful basis for processing. When a channel is disconnected, Lippem deletes its stored reusable token and requests cancellation of the corresponding webhook subscription. Deletion of conversations, contacts, or a workspace follows the Privacy Policy and our data deletion instructions.

7. Service availability

Lippem works to keep the platform continuously available but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Some message delivery and reception depends on external services, such as the Meta API, outside our direct control.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We will notify the customer of material changes through its registered contact channels.

9. Contact

Lippem is operated by lippem LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company located at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.
